Preserving Nature’s Treasures: Flashnet’s Clean-Up Day at Pasul Bratocea, Brasov

This place is significant as it serves as a starting point for breathtaking mountain trails, allowing tourists to explore the Ciucas – Piatra Mare mountains. However, despite its popularity, the road parking lot at Pasul Bratocea often becomes a victim of littering.
Equipped with gloves and garbage bags, 16 passionate volunteers from Flashnet embarked on a mission to restore the cleanliness of the area. Plastic bottles, glass fragments, and discarded cardboard were among the most common items found during the clean-up effort.
Over the course of three hours, the team diligently scoured the surroundings, ensuring no piece of litter was left behind. The collective efforts yielded an impressive result, contributing to the collection of 33 bags of 100 litres, almost 3300 liters of waste and rubbish.
One of the team members, from the Marketing department said: “I couldn’t be happier to have been involved in this amazing effort organized by Flashnet. It was truly a fulfilling experience to contribute to the well-being of our environment and society. Taking part in this clean-up activity reminded me of the importance of collective action and how even small efforts can make a big difference.”
The commitment of the team extended beyond simply cleaning up the area. The collected garbage bags were carefully left for collection by the municipality, ensuring that the waste would be disposed of properly and not further harm the delicate ecosystem of Pasul Bratocea.
In addition to the environmental impact, the clean-up initiative at Pasul Bratocea served as a valuable opportunity to strengthen the bonds within the Flashnet team. The action took on the form of a teambuilding activity, fostering a sense of togetherness, supporting and assisting each other throughout the clean-up.
