Pedaling with purpose. Flashnet joins “Hope on Wheels” in support of children’s palliative care
On 10th –11th May 2025, Flashnet proudly joined the Hope on Wheels cycling event, an initiative led by HOSPICE, Romania’s leading provider of palliative care services. This year, the event focused on expanding therapy services for children with life-limiting conditions, by helping refurbish and equip additional spaces within the Hospital of Hope.
Organized as both an in-person and virtual event, Hope on Wheels invited individuals and organizations to ride with purpose – combining the power of movement with compassion and solidarity. It was a reminder that even small actions, when done together, can bring meaningful change to those who need it most.
Our colleagues joined the initiative with enthusiasm, whether cycling in Brașov or remotely. For many, it represented a way to give back, to support a vital cause and to stand with families facing unimaginable challenges.
This initiative aligned naturally with Flashnet and Lucy Group’s values and long-standing belief in technology serving a higher purpose – the people. As a provider of smart street lighting solutions for safer, more sustainable cities, we’re just as invested in building strong, inclusive communities as we are in street lighting technology.
Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, encouraged, or shared the cause. Because every ride, every gesture and every voice helped carry a message of hope a little further down the road.
