Project title: “LoRaNET – platforma Internet of Things (IoT)“
S.C. FLASHNET S.A., company located in Brașov, Fundătura Hărmanului street, number 4, 1st floor, Brașov County, runs, starting 16.06.2017, the “LoRaNET – platforma Internet of Things (IoT)” project, co-financed by European Regional Development Fund, under the contract signed by Ministerul Comunicaţiilor şi Societăţii Informaţionale (Ministry of Communications and Information Society), Intermediary Organism for POC Priority Axe 2 – “Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for a competitive digital economy”, Specific Objective 2.2. “The growth of ICT sector for economic competitiveness”, Action 2.2.1 “Supporting the growth of added value generated by ICT sector and the innovation in this field through cluster development “.
Total value of the project is 6.237.336,28 lei (TVA included), from which the financial assistance grant is 3.981.573,59 lei (TVA included).
The project is implemented in the city of Brașov during a period of 27 months.
The general objective of the project is the development of an innovative product, more specific, a hardware and software platform which would afterwards allow Internet of Things (IOT) applications’ development. The platform will make use of state-of-the-art radio communication technology (LoRa).
