Flashnet and Multitech, to showcase inteliLIGHT’s LoRaWAN compatible streetlight control solution during European Utility Week in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Companies and investors in the smart energy community will be present at EUW between October 3-5, a trade show and conference aimed at local and worldwide innovations in domains like grid optimization, renewables, energy storage, smart cities, smart metering, intelligent buildings and cyber security
Brasov, ROMANIA, 29 September 2017
At EUW, the participants will be able to compare their products and services with the industry standards, gain valuable insights into the overall direction of the market and expand their industry knowledge, while raising awareness to their own brand, building their reputation and gaining exposure to international experts and decision makers. Networking events throughout the summit will enable participating companies to meet potential collaborators and partners, share experiences with peers from their industries, build their case for attracting foreign capital for R&D purposes or find buyers and clients interested their products and services.
The European Utility Week Summit in Amsterdam will span across 3 days, beginning on the 3rd of October and ending on the 5th. During these three days, attendees will be able to participate in 16 Sessions, divided into 4 major categories: T&D – The Intelligent Grid, Retail, Sustainable & Smart City and Digitalisation.
Apart from the actual summit, participants can attend the exhibition, which will be spread over 5 halls, promoting innovations and technologies which are transforming the utility scenery all over the globe. With over 12000 international experts in utilities attending and 600 international companies presenting solutions, pavilions from 14 countries presenting regional best practices, key networking and social engagement events and many programmes, demos and meetings, the exposition will be well worth exploring.
At the invitation of our partner Multitech, Flashnet will also participate in the exposition event in Amsterdam and will present live demo of inteliLIGHT’s LoRaWAN compatible smart street lighting solution, connected using Multitech routers.
inteliLIGHT® is a smart streetlight control system that transforms any legacy lighting installation into a modern and proactive infrastructure. The city management gains awareness and control over the entire street lighting grid, together with improved scheduling and maintenance applications.
Started as a PLC (powerline communication) based control system a few years ago, inteliLIGHT has evolved to be compatible today with several modern RF communication technologies for IoT, like LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, Sigfox or LTE.
Street lighting is one of the most visible and sensitive city services. Implementing a smart lighting control system and integrating it with others (like energy & water supply, traffic & waste management, parking & mass transit optimization, Wi-Fi connectivity) can create the synergies needed by a smart city. And there’s more: streetlight control actually enables other smart city services, as it provides city-wide continuous power supply and communication.
The inteliLIGHT LoRaWAN compatible controllers presented during the exposition feature individual remote management of streetlamps, autonomous operation based on predefined schedules, adaptive lighting capabilities and lamp feedback, with full electrical parameters and real-time malfunction alerts. All controllers are available in three different form factors: as a wired upgrade for existing lighting installations, as a 7-pin NEMA connectable device (ANSI C136.41) or compact form, to be embedded into luminaries right from the production line and we invite you to discover them in our live demonstration, next week at the European Utility Week Summit in Amsterdam.
