DevOps Engineer, Brasov

Our Research and Development department, based in Brasov, is expanding. We are currently looking for a motivated and skilled DevOps Engineer.

You will be working on maturing our cloud platform to support new business demands and migration of applications to cloud-native architectures. As part of the Software team, you will be analyzing and implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure. Your focus will be on improving accelerated application delivery, reliability and security while identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’.

• Demonstrated competency with the following AWS services: EC2, VPC, RDS, Load Balancing, Routing, Security, Etc.
• Experience building scalable infrastructure in AWS
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL, InfluxDB
• Linux Fundamentals And Scripting
• Knowledge of networking, routers, switches, firewalls
• Knowledge of Various DevOps Tools And Technologies :
  • • • Collaboration tools (Microsoft tools like Outlook, Teams etc, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc)
      • Source Code Management (Git)
      • Continuous Integration (Jenkins)
      • Continuous Testing (Selenium, TestComplete, and TestingWhiz)
      • Continuous Monitoring (Nagios, Zabbix, Splunk, etc)
      • Containerization & Virtualization (Docker, Swarm)
      • Software Configuration Management (Ansible, Puppet etc)
      • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Good understanding of OSI Model, TCP/IP protocol suite (IP, ARP, ICMP, TCP, UDP)
• Clear communication, listening skills, and automate-everything mindset
• Customer-first mindset
• Flexibility

• Providing support for software engineers working with Agile methodologies.
• Create, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines.
• Build and manage cloud and on-prem services.
• Demonstrates good communication skills within the team and client interaction.
