A heartfelt initiative: Transitioning from Smart Cities to nurturing Young Minds

The team at Flashnet recently took a moment away from the usual projects. As September marked the official start of the school year, we decided that it might be a meaningful idea to support an initiative that empowers the future generation through learning and knowledge.
Our search led us to the welcoming doors of “Casa Buna” (The Good House) in Brașov. A non-profit championing youth development, Casa Buna’s dedication to fostering educational inclusivity resonated deeply with our vision.
As we delved deeper into understanding their mission, we were profoundly touched by the individual stories. Children, who once were uncertain about their academic future, now brimming with confidence, ambition, and dreams. It wasn’t just about textbooks and classrooms, but the all-round development, teaching these young minds the values of community, hard work, and resilience. It became clear that our support would be more than a mere financial contribution.
We wanted to be a part of the children’s learning journey. So, colleagues from the Sales and Marketing Department , with the backing of the HR Department (Erzso) and the entire Flashnet team, personally gathered and delivered over 200 crucial book supplies for Casa Buna’s middle school classes.
It’s been heartwarming to see the joy and enthusiasm with which the young students received these books. Their eagerness to learn and grow is palpable, and by providing them with these tools, we are directly investing in their future and, in turn, the future of our community.
Sometimes, the most meaningful gifts aren’t things but moments and shared experiences. In our family-style newsletter, we hope to inspire each member of our Flashnet team to give a bit of their time and heart, by possibly volunteering at Casa Buna.
