Flashnet expands footprint in the US smart street lighting sector with new utility partnerships
As we push forward with our mission of upgrading urban infrastructure across the globe, we are excited to announce new partnerships with leading utility companies in the US, further consolidating our presence in the American smart street lighting market.
After successfully deploying 78,000 NEMA smart lighting controllers in Washington, DC, Flashnet emerged in 2023 as a key provider of innovation and efficiency in the US urban lighting landscape. The NEMA controllers enable features such as individual lamp control, comprehensive city-wide grid awareness, and real-time malfunction alerts, significantly increasing the efficiency and reliability of urban lighting systems.
As utility companies nationwide took notice of this project, our products and technologies emerged as the leading solutions for cities planning to modernize their lighting networks. With solutions deployed across hundreds of thousands of poles, this recognition reinforces the reliability and efficiency of Flashnet’s solutions, solidifying our role as a leading provider in the smart street lighting industry.
Already proven reliable across the globe, our solutions feature easy plug-and-play installation, swift deployment and effortless integration with smart city systems such as TerraGo. The advancements and number of deployments in the past years have not only enhanced our reputation but also culminated in our recognition at Light Reading in 2022. Winning the Leading Lights Award for the Washington, DC project positioned us as a leader in innovation and efficiency in the US urban lighting sector.
These strengths have not only enhanced our reputation but also culminated in our recognition at Light Reading.
A key differentiator for us is the ability to adjust to the unique infrastructure needs across the US. The compact design of the controllers not only makes installation easier but also integrates effortlessly with the decorative lamps commonly found in various states.
“The partnership with a large US utility is an important breakthrough for Flashnet in North America, laying the ground for nationwide smart city initiatives and improving the lives of generations to come” concluded Lorand Mozes, CEO Flashnet.
By partnering with major US utility companies, we’ve demonstrated the efficiency and practicality of our smart street lighting solutions, improving field operations and making infrastructure monitoring more efficient. These partnerships open doors for further growth and will help broaden the adoption of smart city solutions across the US.
