inteliLIGHT smart streetlight control ads TALQ to its outstanding set of integration features
Besides out-of-the box interoperability with any inteliLIGHT components (hardware or software), all TALQ members and certified providers have now access to Flashnet’s IoT Platform, enabling them to use an entire array of IoT communications like LoRaWAN, Sigfox, NB-IoT, LTE-M or Wi-SUN.
As a continuation of their efforts to provide open and interoperable systems, FLASHNET, now part of the ENGIE group, has announced that inteliLIGHT has passed the TALQ certification program. But the integration with other providers of smart lighting software and hardware is not a new idea at FLASHNET.
“Since our first street lighting control implementation back in 2012, we have focused on open communication standards and open integrations. We have never truly understood closed systems and we believe that supplier-locked situations are simply unrealistic and impossible to manage in the fast-paced technological environment that creates today’s smart cities” said Lorand Mozes, CEO of Flashnet.
Even before the TALQ certification, inteliLIGHT controllers were available to be integrated with other TALQ software providers, like Streetlight Vision – through Flashnet’s APIs. So what’s new? Out-of-the-box interoperability between inteliLIGHT and any TALQ compatible device or CMS, without any additional integration effort during the implementation.
Furthermore, TALQ members now have access to Flashnet’s IoT Platform, encouraging hardware interoperability with multiple IoT communications technologies. The platform provides access to multiple IoT-specific communication infrastructures: LoRaWAN, Sigfox, Wi-SUN, NB-IoT, LTE-M or GSM. TALQ-compatible software and hardware solutions and developers can now become communication technology agnostic faster than ever.
This allows smart city businesses to expand faster, clearing out radio regulations conundrum and ensuring worldwide communication compatibility. Everything while keeping focus on their business idea and user experience, not on complex technical and communication integration issues.
