2025, a milestone year as Flashnet receives double national recognition
2025 has become a landmark year for Flashnet. Coinciding with our 20th anniversary, we secured top honors in two major arenas: First Prize at the National Ranking of Private Companies in Romania and First Prize from the Brasov Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

First prize at the national ranking of private companies in Romania
We are proud to announce that we were recently awarded First Prize in the Medium-Sized Enterprises Category at the 33rd edition of the National Ranking of Private Companies in Romania, an event organized by IMM Romania, the most influential national association representing Romanian entrepreneurs and private businesses.
The ceremony, held on November 10 at the prestigious Romanian Athenaeum, brought together leading companies, policymakers, business leaders and representatives from multiple industries. Each year, IMM Romania evaluates the performance of nearly 900,000 companies, analyzing indicators such as gross profit, turnover, productivity and overall business results.
This year, Flashnet stood out among medium-sized enterprises for its strong growth and continued contribution to Romania’s innovation landscape.
First prize awarded by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Brasov, Romania
Flashnet also received First Prize in the category “Manufacturing of Computers and Peripheral Equipment (Medium-sized Enterprises)”, awarded by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Brasov.
This distinction shows our commitment to the local community, as well as the impact of the technology developed in Brasov, technology that now supports cities across the globe in their smart infrastructure evolution.
A milestone in a year of celebration and global expansion
The awards come at a special time for Flashnet, as 2025 marks the company’s 20th anniversary, two decades of innovation in smart street lighting, IoT infrastructure, and urban digitalization.
Being recognized at the national level reinforces our mission: designing and delivering intelligent infrastructure solutions that help cities reduce energy waste, increase safety, and build sustainable digital ecosystems.
Recognitions of people, innovation and perseverance
Beyond the numbers, the awards reflect the effort, passion and expertise of Flashnet’s people – engineers, developers, researchers, project teams and partners who continuously push the boundaries of what smart infrastructure can achieve.
As cities around the world accelerate their digital transformation, Flashnet remains committed to supporting this evolution with innovative solutions rooted in openness, interoperability, and responsible technology.
We extend our sincere thanks to IMM Romania and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Brasov for the distinctions and to all colleagues, partners and customers who have contributed to this success.
